Facial hair
Facial hair should be neatly groomed or freshly shaved. Make sure that your clothes are neatly prepared for your session. (I know, we guys like the “comfortable look” which basically means that if it’s on the top of the pile or draped over our favorite “holding area” and doesn’t walk across the room by itself, it’s good to go. Trust me on this one. If mom doesn’t like the way it looks … Guess what? Yep … You get to do it all again!)
Basics
Bring three outfits per session that you have reserved. Feel free to bring one or two alternatives just in case. Solid colors are traditionally best for portraits, but that doesn’t mean that EVERYTHING has to be a solid color. Some sessions lend themselves to clothing with a little more pattern and flair. NOTE: If you have a favorite outfit, BRING IT! It doesn’t matter what it is, provided that it has parental approval and no profanity. If you like it you will look comfortable and the portrait that we create will be a true character study.
** Bring any items that you would like to have included in your portraits; sports equipment, cars, hobbies, awards, pets, instruments, etc.
